Development purpose
The purpose of Guten's R&D unit is to develop an ergonomic chair that is completely different from the traditional mechanical shape. The purpose is to increase Guten’s share of the ergonomic chair market.
Starting from the first draft, our goal was to upgrade the comfort of the mesh chair through innovative structural features without compromising the premium appearance and texture that users have come to expect. Therefore, the design team started technology research and development from the pain point of lumbar support, and at the same time used line inspiration, material texture, color expression and other forms to cater to modern aesthetic concepts. It is hoped that OSIER can provide each user with a more pleasant sitting experience, thus becoming the first choice in ergonomic chairs. to set new benchmarks.
OSIER design concept
With a one-piece support frame, the appearance is minimalist and has a sense of value. It also shows a visual "functional sense" and a sense of technology brought by the suspended chassis.
OSIER literally means weeping willow, wicker. The designer uses natural plants as the source of design inspiration and uses an elastic back support structure to vividly present the swaying posture of wicker.
